Highland Park. Tasting dinner

On Wednesday, October 7, we will hold another Tasting dinner with Highland Park whisky.

Highland Park is a single malt whisky with a Nordic character, hardened by the strong harsh winds of the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland. As Highland Park is a direct descendant of the Vikings, who ruled the Orkney Islands for a long time, it absorbed all the strength and steel character of the Scandinavian warriors. For over 200 years, the taste of this whiskey has been filled with a smoky note of the victory!

Highland Park is made in accordance with the strict canons of quality handmade, introduced by the founder of the distillery Magnus Janson in 1798. The Highland Park distillery is characterized by 5 distinctive features: the presence of its own malt house, where barley forgives; use of special heather peat for drying malt; aging in oak barrels from sherry; the harsh climate of the Orkney Islands, due to which there is a cold aging of whisky; additional harmonization of whisky in oak barrels from 6 to 12 months.

We present a tasting dinner with three releases of whisky:

  • Highland Park 10 Y.O.,
  • Highland Park 12 Y.O.,
  • Highland Park 18 Y.O.

The speaker of the evening will be Oleg Yakobenko, brand ambassador of the company Edrington. This talented bartender has been behind the counter of many popular Kyiv bars, has developed a lot of cocktail menu, works closely with large-scale outreach events, and is one of the mentors of the Parovoz Mixology Course and Bar Management Course. Oleg has launched well-known projects such as The Fitz, Alaska, Normal Kyiv, Not Only Fish. Winner of Bar Spirit Cup 16 ’and Becherovka Bohemian Challenge. Also included in the list of TOP10 bartenders in the post-Soviet space according to the prestigious Barproof Awards. Today he is the chief bartender of the Queen Kyiv complex of the Bulldozer Group.

Highland Park whisky is one of the most respected single malt whiskys in the world and a multiple gold medalist at various exhibitions and festivals, so if you are a true connoisseur of whisky – you just can not miss our Tasting dinner.

The tasting will include dinner with a set of special snacks: parma, olives, Gojus cheese, almonds and assorted bruschetta; juicy grilled steaks and vegetables.

The dinner will be accompanied by exquisite waters from Italy - Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino, which are partners of the Single Malt season. Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino - inspire people to enjoy life, emphasizing the taste of every moment.
