Port Charlotte. Tasting Dinner 

On Wednesday, November 24, Sam`s Steak House will host another unique dinner of whisky.

Port Charlotte is a smoky single malt whisky produced at the Bruichladdich distillery on the island of Isla.

This time we have prepared for you the widest line of this brand – 5 items, including three limited releases, which are not widely available. This range is tasted in Ukraine for the first time and will not be repeated (some items from the limited series are already completely sold out)

 

We taste 5 releases:

  • Port Charlotte 10 YO is a warm-up classic, the brand's most famous release, as well as Whisky Exchange 2021 whisky.
  • Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2012 – whisky made from barley grown on the island of Isla. Younger than the previous model, but does the duration of exposure always matter? Let's try – and find out.

The next 3 whiskeys are exclusives from the limited series Cask Exploration series.

Cask Exploration series is a line of Port Charlotte, which investigates the effect of aging smoky whisky in different barrels - from Bordeaux wines, sherry oloroso, marsala.

  • Port Charlotte PAC 01: 2011 - a novelty of 2021, whisky with ageing in barrels of Bordeaux red wine.
  • Port Charlotte MC 01: 2009 – whisky with ageing in barrels of Italian sweet fortified wine Marsala
  • Port Charlotte OLC 01: 2010 – limited and already withdrawn release with ageing in barrels of Spanish sherry Oloroso

 

All whiskys from this series are bottled at barrel strength and have very high marks among both experts and connoisseurs.

 

The tasting will be conducted by Anna Kuptsova, brand ambassador of the brand and whisky expert with more than 10 years of experience.

 

For each release, chef Serhiy Dziubenko prepares special dishes, as well as branded steaks T-Bone and Rib-Eye.

 

The dinner will be accompanied by exquisite waters from Italy – Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino, which are partners of the Single Malt season. Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino – inspire people to enjoy life, emphasizing the taste of every moment.

 

Participation fee: UAH 1,900.

On the day of the event: UAH 2,100.
